1) Wash-ability

A prime concern about paint is its wash-ability. The glossier the paint, the more easily it can be washed. However, do note that the shinier the paint, the more light is reflected and it can be very distracting to the users. Also. The paint is thinner and imperfections will be shown more easily.
If you need to use washable paint, use them for areas such as the bathrooms and kitchens.

Paint is one of the most affordable and easiest ways to change a room. But choosing the right paint colors for your home can seem like an overwhelming task.

Paint, accessories, fabric, furniture, and flooring should all blend, so take a good look at the room you will be working on, preferably before you choose a paint color, and decide what will stay in the room, and what you may want to move out of the room.

A helpful way to figure out which colors will best coordinate is to familiarizing yourself with the Color Wheel, which consists of primary and secondary colors. It is simple and works like this: the primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. By mixing two primary colors, you create a secondary color.

Perry Home Kitchen Remodeling Project

Home, Ugly, Home

Yes, home is where the heart is. The kitchen is the heart of the home.

Our home and kitchen is the heart of a big, messy remodeling project. We decided to update our kitchen with new cabinets, countertops, and floors. While we were at it, we also want to revise the traffic flow, which means moving some of the plumbing and electrical.

My husband, Randy, decided we would do the remodeling ourselves rather than contract someone to do it. He once built an entire house and it is still standing after 20 years, so I trust he can manage the workload provided I supervise.
